Same auditing firm as many Chinese firms and many of the are moving down on news that this auditor has appeared to allow very loose controls and accounting standards. Did you see the article? If their auditing firm is another Arthur Andersen then this could mean issues for CTHR and even if that is not the case this stock could trade lower on this new development.
CTHR should get another auditor, why is it using one that many reverse merger China firms are using? It looks shady.
While it's always good to be cautious, CTHR used the FROST PLLC side of the merger (the good firm) as auditor up until earlier this year. It would be smart for the company to move on to a different auditor going forward, but this presumably takes some time. Given the company probably has the same audit staff from Frost for now, my guess is that they will wait until they find the right replacement.
Further, I would be careful with the Zero Hedge site.....I have found it bordering on paranoia as opposed to healthy skepticism....following their advice will keep you poor and not help you avoid disaster in my experience with them over the past two years.
and everyone knows "CTHR ain't Chinese" but that is not the point, if this auditing firm gets a bad reputation for being involved in one of the biggest stock scandals in recent history it can affect every co associated with it.
