Well, not that cheap but cheap on a takeover basis. The way the stock is acting (good) in the face of a market correction, I would guess we're nearly there. I'm looking for a low twenty's offer.
What if he is short? What's the problem with that? If we're asking each other for opinions, are we only to accept those who agree with us?
It seems to me that there's a lot of speculation about companies getting taken over. That's a big danger for a short position. But if AKS does not get taken out, what is it really worth to a shareholder. I notice the 1-year target on yahoo is $12.88. Is this stock already carrying a heavy premium for speculation?
I'm not disagreeing with you; I just don't know (I don't admit that often.) How have the assets become more valuable?
And, aren't two of the downsides for acquisition still here: debt and poor labor relations at the largest facility?
I'm not as enthusiastic about there being a serious buyer out there as most.
