I took on a fairly large short position when AKS was @4.75 recently, and although it went to around $4.90 briefly, it slowly made its descent to where I have been profitable. I am quite profitable at the moment. So for those of you who think this is going to $5 or higher, you are dreaming. Sell it...you will make more money.
Congrats if you've actually made money on your short. As for me, I feel much safer being long on a stock that's around $3.75/share and has a ten year historical range of $1.74 (9/26/2003) to $73.07 (5/21/2008) and a has 20%+ short holding, but that's just my investment philosophy. To each his/her own.
