If you own AKS, consider selling and buying back @ 2.65
If you are on the sidelines, wait for $2.65
Don't short on margin...too dangerous
And avoid options...waste of time and premium
Make your bets NOW before the analyst community make the same announcement I just did. Consider yourself very lucky and fortunate to have read this post before all the incompetent analysts announce their downgrades. A lot of money to be made if you make your move NOW.
Good to hear from you. Glad to know you're still kicking. So I see Moody's downgraded the debt of AKS. I think they are a little late to the party, since they cite weakness in Europe and China. Last I heard, Europe has posted some incredible manufacturing numbers and so has China. That doesn't even take into consideration the auto sector and residential construction in the U.S. which has posted some strong results.
One takeaway from the Moody's downgrade is "OUTLOOK STABLE". That is music to my ears. AKS is not going anywhere, they are not in trouble. True, Q3 will probably be ugly, but don't you think that is priced in by now? So perhaps the stock goes down to $3 with the whole Syria thing, but the future looks brighter in 6 months to a year. We all know the stock will run before there is any indication that the company is really starting to turn things around. By then, most of the gains will be had. I am not buying more at this point, because I feel I am already too exposed to material stocks, but I still think my $3.56 cost basis will pay off. Using a quote you once stated on this board, I am being "stubborn as a mule" on this one.
