I read an article a couple of years back about how this company was a good investment, since many of the country's water lines would HAVE to be replaced in the next 10 to 20 years. However, since then the stock price has gone down, and stayed down. The government agencies that were supposed to be purchasing aren't doing much. Why?
Clearly the market has it wrong, water is not a necessity. Big Government it is, and eveidently big government has decided to spend the money they don't have on necessities. You thought the stimulus was going to infrastructure, ha!MWA needs to live until home construction comes back, don't depend on the government!
BTW municipalities can not print $. And as for pipe, PVC is cheaper than iron (short term).
