Seriously, I try not to laugh ,but Stutz and her "team" is bordering on just plain ludicrious.. Listening to the call yesterday just clarifies how much Stutz has no idea running a company... Look at the massive sell off today.. Stuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupid!!!!!!
She's only been on board less than a year and it usually takes some time to turn around a struggling concept so I think your comments are a bit harsh. That said, her background appears to be primarily in Operations and not real general management so this could be the first role where she's had to focus on multiple disciplines.
However, even if she was "great", I'm not sure she could save this. This is a concept that has NEVER made money and while many folks will profess to love their food, there clearly aren't enough of them or they don't eat there with great frequency. Unfortunately, the company is so small that it doesn't have the resources to either market itself differently and/or do significant remodels/reconcepting. It would be great to look back a few years from now and read about a big turnaround. Nobody wins when companies fail but this one is going to be really tough to make work given the current economics and negative trends.
