Anyone know what the net revenue/profits from Vivitrol?
I don't know if this is correct but it appears a physician bills around $800 per shot which is administered once per month. Of the $800, what is ALKS's unit cost of the shot, the percentage shared with the seller... and what percentage is dropped to ALKS's bottom line? Any estimates are appreciated!!!
Is it possible ALKS could administer 1 Million shots over the course of a year? If so, that would be gross revenues of $800MM, which I think could have a very positive effect on the stock price. I realize my numbers are much higher than the analysts, but I think their numbers are way too conservative, which is my catalyst for the stock.
Technically, this stock appears to have little to zero resistance until $17 a share and is in a very positive uptrend (with the 52 week high being the day Vivitrol's FDA panel vote). Will ALKS continue to trade higher into the FDA approval?
It's amazing the Oct 14 Calls are only trading at .90!!! That's only about .20 of premium one has to pay with three weeks to go and 2 events coming in the very near future (and new research coverage by UBS with a $18 price target!!!)
I think the options might be a great way to play this one...only time will tell.
