GS said that it would drop to about $45 but no one believed them. Now look, it blew right past $45 and now sits at $40. I believe it will go up a little but I also believe it will go down further. It will stay in this cycle until the company does something about it. Management thought they were bullet proof, now they see the truth but they don’t know how to fix it. They believed hooking up with Cisco was going to solve their lack of R&D for all these years, but it won’t. Cisco is playing caught up also. They need to hire some young blood with fresh ideas or they and their stock holders will lose out, at time when they should be raking in contracts. Right now they can’t see the forest because all the trees are blocking their view. The grid is changing, this company is not. Itron is a one trick pony and that trick is fading fast.
