Honda Sells 3.83 Million Vehicles World Wide In 2012
That represents a 19% increase over the tsunami impacted year of 2011.
Toyota was the largest vehicle manufacturer in the world at 9.75 million, followed by GM, Nissan sold a record # of vehicles at 4.9 million. Volkswagen was the world's 3rd largest manufacturer.
More importantly, with the new TKK (Honda) plant in china, with Honda's open disclosure of September 10th, 2012 that they intend to use CDTI's technology "across all product lines", with these production #'s one can extend potential global catalytic savings (37% on each vehicle per Honda). With 3.83 million vehicles produced each year the savings will be more than $75 million annually.
