    CES will be huge, major announcements for 2003. Major presence at CES with big name musical entertainers. Could see $1+ next week.

    Consumer Electronics Show � Las Vegas, Nevada

    SIRIUS will have a high-profile presence at the 2003 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) � the world�s largest showcase for consumer technology � to be held January 9-12 in the Las Vegas Convention Center.




    This major event provides a showcase for SIRIUS to outline its programming and marketing strategies for 2003, and to highlight its growing receiver product line.

    The company�s 4,200-sq. ft. exhibit (booth #2825 in the Convention Center�s north hall) will include a SIRIUS-equipped Mini Cooper car and product kiosks with the growing product line of SIRIUS satellite receivers. A sound stage on the SIRIUS exhibit will be the site of daily live performances by artists and groups that include Alanis Morissette, the Blues Brothers, Grand Master Flash, Soluna, Patti Austin, Fulanito, Rhonda Vincent, Pam Tillis, Highway 9 and the Gospel Brunch.

    A dedicated outdoor display in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center will feature the SIRIUS Rhythm of the Road tour, complete with a DJ booth for appearances by on-air personalities and listening stations for visitors to sample the 100 channels of SIRIUS music, entertainment, talk and sports programming. Vehicles on exhibit with the various SIRIUS receivers will range from the BMW M3 and Mercedes E500 to a Lincoln Navigator and the SIRIUS-sponsored Formula racing boat.

    SIRIUS executives will brief the media January 8 on the company�s initiatives for 2003. Speaking at the press conference will be SIRIUS President & CEO Joseph P Clayton; Mary Pat Ryan, Executive Vice President � Marketing; Larry Pesce, Vice President for Product Management and Strategic Planning; and Larry Rebich, the Vice President of Programming and Market Development.

    Technical sessions during the Consumer Electronics Show also are to include the participation of SIRIUS executives. Mary Pat Ryan will take part in the January 9 Digital Hollywood panel entitled: �Music Industry: Subscription Services, Satellite, Internet Radio and other Services.� On January 10, Stan Kozlowski, SIRIUS Senior Vice president of Retail Distribution, will participate in the �Satellite Services Executive Roundtable� from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    • Great. Now we're sponsoring damn racing boats. How about hot air balloons? Nobody's thought of that yet? Works for ReMax???!!!

      • They sponsored boats for a while
        They also sponsored trucks and the Pikes Peak race. Some chick and a guy that flipped his on the finish line. They were nobodies and no one knew there names. another waste of racing sponsorship money.

        These are all events that were set up by JC and his buddies. All they do is help friends of his go racing and act like big shots. They are having dinner right now and using 100 of your shares to do it.

        There are to many people getting a free ride and not enough people that are working.
