Xmsr's mkt cap even though xmsr has over 5x as many subs and much better subscription growth. Siri's measly 100,000+ sub base is a joke given how long they have been offering their service. And many of you wonder why it's going back down now? Xmsr is a pos too if you ask me, but if you want to value these stocks fairly based on subs and sub growth than xmsr should be valued 5x higher than siri on a mkt. Cap basis. Siri going below .50 a share though would straighten that out though... And ultimately i think siri goes to zero. Didn't they say they would need 2 million subs to be profitable?
siri current mkt cap is 1.47 billion
xmsr current mkt cap is 1.24 billion
both are wildy overvalued, but especially siri with it's joke/measly sub base.
wake up idiots. Some of you are not thinking at all here. Xmsr should be valued exponentially higher than siri and not the other way around as it stands. The mkt always straightens out ineffiencies in the market. Also has, always will. This is a temporary abheration. Enjoy it while it lasts. I can't believe how much dumb money is on this thing.
also do any of you realize that regular (free)radio stations across the country are slowly starting to broadcast in digital? With a new radio you can listen to free radio with digital clarity in many parts of the country soon.
all this woman's opinion based on diligent dd
THEY'VE BEEN OFFERING THEIR SERVICE FOR WELL OVER A YEAR NOW AND ONLY HAVE A LITTLE OVER 100,000 SUBS!!!!
AND YOU THINK THEY'LL HAVE 2 MILLION BY NEXT MAY IN 2004? WAKE UP IDIOT!!!
you are pathetic. go offer your services to that one last village that is short an idiot. Or, maybe you could be elected town drunk somewhere.
Money flows from the impatient to the patient.
you believe that? You think they will grow their sub base 20x in less than a year? How much have they grown their sub base the last year? They have a little over 100,000 subs idiot!
another unfrickinbelievable idiot!
Why in the world would anyone think 100,000 subscibers instantly translates to high stock prices and great fundamentals (remember them?) I dont even want to talk about earnings. It will take time.Good for me to load up. A few cents up or down wont matter in the big scheme of things.
Why do you care so much about the subs XMSR has over SIRI? You should be more concerned of the bootom line at what you will get owning the stock.
If you own XMSR stock, you expect to lose $4.81/share. If you own SIRI, you expect to lose only $0.28/share.
Which one has a better management and business sense. One can have lots of subs and revenue but if all these goodies are filtered some way before reaching you as a stockholder, they are doing you a disservice and you owe yourself to dump them as quick as possible.
-.28 per share x 1 billion shares How much is that total? Ive got a great idea if they triple the amount of shares they could get there loss down to -.093 per share. Then they would really look good in comparison to XM
