At the close of business on June 20, SIRIUS had 100,233 subs, we finished the quarter (june 30th) with 105,186. so from june 20th to june 30th we averaged about 500 subs a day which would be 195,000 dec. 31st, 03 if avg. didnt grow one bit from here on out. now keep in mind during the conference call joe clayton stated "only about 2000 subs of the 105,186 were from PNP", so all of this is basically without the PNP which now has two nice offerings with the audiovox and the kenwood H2A which is displayed side by side with the delphi at Circuit City now. Then you throw in "exponential growth" along with future advertising which began a few weekends ago @ the Glen (nascar), then at lollapolloza this summer and a high profile spot during monday night football games this season and on top of all this we get the ford rollout going next month and the soon to be option in 90% of all Mercedes' and BMW's. Daimler Chyrsler is also gonna have Sirius Satellite option as well.
more math here, we outmanaged XM by $50 mil. mrq with 500,000 less subs and we have more cash in reserve then XM.
300,000 subs (330,000 is what Joe C. hinted at during CC) doesnt seem hard to achieve by year's end after what i considered a pretty decent release a few weeks ago. As soon as we reach our 2003 goals, we start rolling out the option in most of Winnebago Industries' new 2004 motor homes.
