What the directors fail to understand at this place.
This company has the potential to keep expanding and earning higher profits if they would just open their ears and eyes. Its called "craft-beer" Instead of selling that #$%$ on tap by the large beverage distributors, they should focus on bringing in local breweries as guest and featured beers. Craft beer is on fire and so is the demand. People don't want Lite beer, Bud and Coors except for the brain-dead and college girls pursuing their MRS. Degrees. Companies fail when they don't listen to their customers. I own 400 shares and certainly hope they wake up or I will sell soon.
My local BWW has a pretty good mix of macros and craft beer. Sure they aren't going to make the list of 100 top beer bars in the U.S., but for a larger audience, why wouldn't they carry both? They don't want to alienate the Miller/Bud crowd. They are a much bigger segment of the beer market. Craft beer is growing, but is still dwarfed by the big boys. It makes sense to me to cater to both segments.
Stop it...that's called Customer Service. Yeah, we go to BW's from time to time with the crowd but I prefer the little place down the way that offers local brews and a few odd things from out of state. Little less noisy and certainly a better selection.
And just what is wrong with college girls pursuing an MRS degree?
