QCOR does not look too bullish going into tomorrow's earnings report. QCOR needs to close at around 33-34 by tomorrow in order to sustain any pop after the ER. If it closes below 33, we will get a 15% pop this week after the ER, which will gradually fade away as traders will take profit and shorts will keep pressuring it. I have seen it with GMCR back in August. Shorts have as much information as we do, but they don't seem to be afraid as they have 27 days to cover and they will cover gradually after tomorrow's call. In any case, I don't see a huge short covering. The best case scenario, in my opinion, is that QCOR will hit 40 sometimes next week and around 45 after Q1 report.
jr, I dare to differ. QCOR has been down a few cents on below average volume for the past two days. Someone is accumulating cheap shares 100 shares at a time. I would be conerned if we see huge(above average) selling. Wait till volume tells us the true story. This is the quiet before the storm. Some are always late for the party, aye?
I was thinking the same. It's already spiked from $26 to $31. Sell the news? I'm long, but I'm concerned about what they have to say about insurance reimbursements on a go-forward basis. It seems everyone is expecting a blowout number, which concerns me- to much optimism.
