I don't recall ever having put a $4 per share book value on MGIC. Let me know if I am wrong, please.
What I have done in the past at other posters request is compute a P/E. And, as you know, from a fundamentals question, the issue is how the (now much larger) services arm of MGIC will perform in the future.
In your posting I think you referred to the flotilla incident. Certainly, the impact of this political issue and the impact of the drop of the Euro has certainly hurt most Israeli technology stocks that I follow. However, oddly enough, for MGIC the recent significant growth in the services headcount through the addition of the large U.S. acquisition might (which I am concerned about), I suspect, provide some level of stability.
