Just about a week ago I had written Preissler asking if there was still a chance AERL's room in the Venetian would be remodeled as had been suggested over a year ago. He replied by saying they were weighing their options on what to do and considering a move to another location. All along the thing they wanted most from the Venetian remodel was a private table in its own room. Why? Because the very high rollers want to play in that kind of room.
It's somewhat difficult to quantify just how much more roll to expect from a private table compared to public ones. I recall discussing this with D. Bain some time ago so my recollection is pretty vague. I want to say a reasonable expectation is the potential for maybe 50% more revenue as compared to a public table but I can't remember for sure. Suffice to say this is good news. They maintain their relationship w/ LVS, probably leave open the option of returning to the Venetian at some point, and most importantly get a private table to boot.
