Their is nothing wrong with the company or the stock other than it has gotten way ahead of itself. As I've posted before,I think we revisit the 16ish area before saddling up to 22-24 within a months a time.
Here's a prediction. In two weeks all the die-hards on this post who said I am wrong will change their tune and start printing what a wonderful opportunity ACAD is at 16 and change. Then two weeks later when we hit 22-24,them same die-hards will be begging me for six winning lotto number picks :)
"Here's a prediction. In two weeks all the die-hards on this post who said I am wrong will change their tune"
yes, you're the world's best prognosticator, you know it will be exactly 2 weeks, you're crystal ball is impeccable
"and start printing what a wonderful opportunity ACAD is at 16 and change."
so you not only know it will be in 2 weeks, you know it will hit 16 based on your super duper spidey sense. you're a genius!
"Then two weeks later when we hit 22-24,them same die-hards will be begging me for six winning lotto number picks :)"
so you can predict in exactly 2 weeks we will fall to 16, and then 2 weeks later rise to 22-24, and 25-40% move up! You're amazing! Actually, you're a moron. Your cockiness is hysterical, your predictions nonsensical, your knowledge close to zero. You have no followers, you know nothing and you will lose big time (if that is you have any money at all which I suspect you don't).
Yes, a back and fill to $16ish is possible (maybe not likely but certainly possible). But is also very possible that you wake up to a $35 buy out or news on an early filing and we gap to $25...these are not long shots, IMO.
What I don't understand is why, with all of the over leveraged, declining revenue, poorly managed, non competitive companies and stocks out there, why would you choose ACAD to short?
I like to occasionally short horrible companies with poor/sleazy management, with tons of debt and lousy prospects, I don't pick the companies that are likely to be multi baggers in the future.
For your sake I hope you don't get burned too badly but you are playing with fire, IMO.
I can understand your point and have shorted for the same reason but here is why i would't be short. Even though i don't see it happening anytime soon, There is always a possibility that someone takes it out or just as bad. A rumor stating the same thing. My dad worked at cantor and this time of year a lot of large funds are rotating money and bio's tend to get bought. Finally momentum is up and until this breaks that trend on heavy Volume; i stay long. Every trade has a winner and a loser so looking at a chart is the risk worth the reward? It hasn't paid off yet and anyone would be hard pressed to say anything different and even then you still would of been better off long. GL2ALL Mike
Yeah all it takes is a rumor, and boom it jumps 75% or more of the difference. Doesnt matter if they want to sell or not, any offer speaks to current valuation. Bakers are on the inside. You think they will be able to contain themselves if a $35 buyout offer came across the desk? Someone would leak it, and bye bye to teens and twenties overnight.
Normally you might be right, but I think the Baker Brothers will not let it fall that much. Not only that but they are on the inside with the board. Price goes down they can cook up some PR. Look it gapped back up to $19.20 in AH already.
I took money some off at $12.55, thinking we would revisit 9 or 10 and never got there. Anybody that would long-term bet against the Bakers will find it difficult. Once they get their teeth into a biotech, they will defend it, as they are not in it for 10% gains but, serious upside while bringing innovation to reality for patients.

Based on what, your genius intuition? What the hell do you know? Where are your facts?

16's is based on what? Your genius intuition once again? Why not 15 or 10? You know nothing. You're a day trading moron like the rest of them. Here's to hoping you lose on the way up and down.
