    Next meeting checkin

Sorry I didn't respond to the question about Pyramid House in Walnut Creek. . .didn't know they were public. It seems to be popular, but not as popular at PF Changs or other local places. A number of BrewPubs have failed in Walnut Creek - there was one at the same location that closed, and Jupiter out of Berkeley closed its location also. My personal opinion is that BrewPubs have lost their freshness in the marketplace. They were all the rage 10 or so years ago. McCovey's (right around the corner) has sucked up a lot of business in the same mid-range market. Lots of baseball memoribilia, and the McCovey name, with a SBC Park look.

    • Yes, I owned Portland Brewing back in the early 1990s. It was publically owned, but NOT publically traded. It was sold through an investor relations relations after an offering directly from the company. Very difficult to sell, but I did sell via Ebay for a slight profit. They had pretty optimistic views of expansion, but the field got too crowded. They started in 1985 or so, but even that wasn't enough. These were the guys who thought up the Henry Wienhards brand...

      Retail is a tough gig...

I wish ARMF provided a clearer picture of how garlic zing is doing... They need more visibility among investors. You'd think Bill would be tired of the low share price as well.
