You can get an HD PVR in gamestop--but they do so on an order basis. IMHO Gamestop is a perfect destination for --walk in retail consumers. This is a gamers store. The employees are almost all gamers and are very knowledgeable(which is an important aspect of growing users) A smart move for the future would be to get the PVR into Gamestop as a regular retail item that they have on hand. Having a built in inventory could easily expand the consumer base and drive sales. Hauppauge is a distant second to El Gato and selling the new HD PVR 2 + at 20.00 more than El Gato isnt going to help them recapture lost market share. Getting them into retail outlets where they sell counsels 100's of video games WITHOUT El gato there would be quite helpful. Best Buy is just an OK destination. Its not a gaming store--the employees are nothing like gamestop. I think Hauppauge is still used to the *computer* aspect of selling when this is purely a video game device. It should be in the main video game store.
