Your last report did not have a reply button (surprise, surprise, yahoo's technical guinesses) so i had to start a new thread to respond.

First of all thanks for starting the contest. It has been fun to participate. As to which organization to donate, my recommendation is the American Cancer Society. My nephew (a smoker) was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and my neighbor and his wife both have had to deal with their cancers. Thank you.

    • I just donated $100 to the American Cancer Society. You have my sympathy about your nephew, I hope things work out OK for him.

      • There have been a few expand drug use but nothing significantly effective out there or coming other than NKTR 102. Roche/AMGN said they are working on new cancer treatments. all early development. In the past 2 years, we have seen avastin added and deleted from applications.
We have lived though shortages of doxil. And of course buyouts like IMCL Erbitux. Failure like DNDN provenge.

We should see more indication expansion coming sooner down the line.
