Another reason for a lower price

is that the company probably stopped buying back
the stock until the time they issue themselves new
options. The option stike is related to the stock price
(which they would like to lsee lower than it is now).

    • ...just understand your a minority shareholder
and managements has a lot of power here...at 17 times
earnings i think its richly priced and i also think in
this conversion market a 2 two 1 conversion ratio is
very rich to expect and also guys a nice drop in price
would allow you all to increase your position...these
thrifts are rich compared to banks theses days...many in
single diget bear market pe....ill hcbk in the second
srep if and when it happens...buying back shares seems
like they wan t to reduse shares rather then selling
more....earnings are static other then buybacks...i think hcbjk is
      fully priced...and has preformed excelllent....rememebr
      stocks to trade down sometimnes...
