Has anyone heard Corbat say anything positive about Citi.
The closes thing that I can think of is Corbat said they are almost meeting their goals and their on track and they have the right mix. While Jamie Dimon's is always in the news talking positive about his bank and the economy. Here is Corbat "Well it was tuff out their last quarter and next quarter is going to be tuff again I don't know. What a total AFU CEO. How could a CEO be that stupid to make that kind of statement and still be employed?
I think if you ask Jamie Dimon if he is happy about being in the news so much this last quarter..he would have preferredd to have been on the side lines. With the fines and penalties that Dimon had to pay out this last quarter, he would have liked to have been in the dark.
Dimon is talking positive and JPM stock is still doing well while Corbat is talking negative and C is dropping like a rock. Both are in emerging markets. This is a good example of what a positive attitude will do for you. Just think were JPM would be if they didn't have all the fines and bad press, Dimon's is doing everything that he can do to make JPM look good while Corbat just doesn't care. Why would you ever say it was a tuff quarter and the next quarter is going to be tuff also. You don't thing every CEO has a tuff quarter. Corbat is in over his head and should retire or be fired. Citi stock will recover in a few weeks if they got the right CEO and then start moving forward. As it stands now it will be a year or two before they recover from Corbat's screw-up. And he is getting a bonus for what.
