I would guess that most of the users are teenagers...I know mine have accounts, and I know they aren't buying anything from the Ads. They don't even use the site anymore, they just use the Chat message feature to talk with their friends. Still don't see how they're going to make money on this site!
Yep, the land of STUPID PEOPLE, the ole burn outs from High School, posting 20 yr old pics of themselves and still "thinking" they're a cheerleader or on the football team or something. STUPID-VILLE. Yeah, "Like I have 300 "friends" dude- LOOK at me, I'm sooo "popular" and cool". Adults acting like freaking teenage mental patients. It's a fad, and it will collapse, as it already is- as the next "new" STUPID-VILLE comes along and all the lemmings run over to waste their pathetic lives away there. The dumbest generation. Staring into little phones all day and txting and posting meaningless gibberish nearly 24/7. And THAT we "think" is worth BILLIONS in valuation? Remember when we made things like STEEL and OIL and COAL and MINERALS and Aircraft and Computers and Medical life saving tech, etc? Now, STUPID "WEB SITE" where STUPID sloth congregate and babble to each other- and we're being told that is the "new" economy. NOT BUYING IT.
Wrong. It is a way to keep in touch with people that you would never have heard from again. It is a common thread that allows you to keep in touch with relatives, and keeps you from having to send photos that you wanted to send but never did. Just post them online. As for those "ME ME ME" types, I agree it is nauseating at times..but, FB won't die. It is a great way to broadbrush a lot of people and make contact. It is here to stay.
