We are approaching the high end of this trading range based on the sell average.
HOW TO CALCULATE SELL AVERAGE.
1, add the last price it traded and multiply that number by 2 (27.84 x 2)=55.68
2, add the 52 week low price. +17.55
3, add the 52 week high price +45.00
4, Divide that # by 4 118.23/4 = 29.56
The current sell average for this trading range based off todays closing price is 29.56
DO NOT GET CAUGHT UP IN THE HYPE MUCH LONGER.
some famous movie/commercial lines are pertinent here... "Show Me The Money" and "Where's the Beef?" The issue is that there's no valuation to justify the PE of this company. Liking a company on FB is not converting to sales in the predicted #'s leading to further advertiser fall-off... Unless Zucherberg plans to charge a premium fee for his users, this company will be stuck. This was just a social media phenomenon that didn't convert to growing revenues. Your Broker was correct!
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Hey richeydouglas...that's quite a mathematical algorithm concocted. Does such Einstein stock gymnastics on paper ... work for you/anyone in real life ?!?
I want to know...as well as my fellow Facebook Longs.
Perhaps such calculations are programmed into computerized "high-frequency trading", in which computers make elaborate decisions to initiate orders.
Please advise ... Facebook Longs ... want to be as successful ... as you appear to be. Thank you.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Hey richeydouglas...most posters here do NOT have advice giving brokers...including YOU !! If you are "short" ... I wish you well. Facebook Longs are choosing to hold onto shares.
Thus, who are you giving UN-ASKED advice to ?!?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
With your formula, when it gets to 29.56...
(29.56*2 + 17.55 + 45)/4 = 30.42
And at 30.42
(30.42*2 + 17.55 +45)/4 = 30.85 etc...
Why not just do (17.55+45)/2 = 31.28
Using your simple 2 number formula want work to calculate sell average if the price is above 31.28.
try for example 32 as your last price for example using my formula. your sell average based off that price is 31.64 which would be lower than the price..
using your formula you can calculate based on 52 week data
