because typical Wall Street thieving .. the analysts PUMP it up with buy ratings as they are selling it and then the retail buyers are left holding the bag and end up selling as it falls and falls and falls
When Carter Worth was promoting the H&S bottom on CNBC, he was looking at the long term chart.
However, there is a shorter term H&S top which needs to be resolved first (4 month pattern). I am surprised he had not mentioned this.
yeah, ME TOO (surprised carter w did not mention)! PLUS, i watch (and generally respect) cw's reports on TA; that day HE DID NOT LOOK SINCERE--like he really wasn't convinced (or his boss told him to say that). no kidding--i did not believe him when he made that report.
i mean,a lot of times the companies/industry is more mature and there is some cyclical basis for the call... you know...??!!
wow...that is one heck of an optimistic prediction for a company that can't generate any substantial new users, or revenue and earnings growth going forward. This stock is way overpriced, way over allocated and way overhyped#$%$ in 12 months.
You can't give negative guidance at earnings, and then leave the stock to twist in the wind. The CEO and the COO say nothing and obviously care very little about the short term stock price.
If more retail investors banded together and said something, and demanded some attention to the stock price that would be a start. Why FB needs to sit on $10 billion while Zuck fiddles is beyond me. It's time for the COO or the CFO to say something. Even a minimal effort is expected and frankly we investors are getting nothing from corporate.
You also have to remember that FB employees just gave 100% thumbs up to Zuck as CEO. There is crazy groupthink going on there, and unless retail investors speak up, looks like Zuck is happy to see the price keep going down. Insiders aren't selling, retail investors and traders are selling because they see that there is a concerted effort to keep the price down, and to keep FB from doing anything to promote the stock price for some reason.
