Global Mobil AD stats per Bloomberg Video Article Aug. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Triggit Co-Founder Zach Coelius
Looks like share take by fb was from other and Goog still out front. This should be an epic battle. I still think the end result will be more not less competition for FB - the next 5 yds will be hard to get. No one with any common sense looks at the ads unless forced to or fraud or by mistake. That is my take. As the advertisers wake up to this fact of lack of conversion - HISTORY as the article I posted will repeat itself with regard to mobil pricing or CPM. The only way this will not happen is if the ADs offer something to the consumer - discounts or whatever.
I guess Apple iAd, Pandora, Twitter Pinterest etc are in the Other category. So market share take by FB is from them.
if the pie doesn't grow as big and competition from others increases expect fb share to decrease or top out as competition stiffens and bulls like a good stiff one now and again. GOOG is killing the competition - when you are in the market for something do you search or go to facebook - facebook model is behind your search relying on cookies if or likes from you. Stale.
also next qtr earning FB better put up Revenue Generated from Mobile equal to or greater than Mobile User Access. qtr 2 showed 70+% accessing FB thru mobile with only about 41% or so revenues generated from mobile. If not this should tank and deservedly so.
tough row to hoe - bigger expectations = bigger miss which is why the analyst are sandbagging FB earnings - but we got there # this time. Expectations are for 30% Revenue growth and the math says FB will fail Q/Q comparisons.
