Facebook is way over priced and needs to drop back to its IPO price to be fairly valued. If you have a profit it would be a good idea to sell some before the stock is back to the 40's.
scott: Don't sweat the "losing teens" scenario. that story has whiskers. Fact is, less than 8% of FB's ads are directed at that group for obvious reasons. Teens don't buy houses, jewelry, insurance, or cars. They don't apply for mortgages, and most aren't planning a vacation to the Greek isles or need Viagara etc.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
options expiration, they succesfully defended the secondary offering, see the days low,but wiped away all the speculastive options.wit fb an indexed stock this is norm.its not going to act like twitter from here
A European Union trial called the Global Social Media Impact Study discovered that Facebook use among 16 to 18 year-olds nosedived during the study's 15-month observation period. Youth, more and more, have turned to social apps such as Snapchat and WhatsApp, along with the likes of Twitter and Facebook's own Instagram. That doesn't mean it's time to worry for investors, however: Facebook's maturity has come with a better grip on advertising, and the study itself noted that children did acknowledge Facebook's technological prowess for organization and integration -- even if that didn't translate to usage. Facebook might not be as trendy with older teens as it used to be, but it's doing what it needs to do for the long term -- and for investors, that's the key for success.
I don't understand why Facebook or Twitter or whomever are so concerned with winning over the teens age group. Their wants, needs, and dislikes are ever changing. one week they like Twitter, then the next time they prefer Facebook, or something entirely different. My daughter likes both, and uses each one to do different things. one does not really outshine the other, so neither stock should worry about the other. the teen age group is wishy washy for lack of a better phrase, and to spend so much money trying to win them over don't make sense to me.
