Trolls who argue that everything is "priced in" are proponents essentially of the efficient market theory which states that the market instantaneously and correctly prices in all the available information. In other words, the current price of a stock is always correct because the market is always right. (The theory doesn't take into account human psychology and the fact that humans can take the same information and come to completely opposite conclusions. In other words, how can the market be perfect when humans are so imperfect?)
This theory is hogwash. Let's take TTWO. Again, it's selling essentially for the same price as it was when the company basically had one AAA title. In my opinion, the price ignores the value of all of the AAA titles that TTWO has developed this generation: RDR, NBA, Bioshock, Borderlands and others. The price also ignores the fact that TTWO alone has been able to create more new IP than its competitors. And it also prices TTWO's Asian initiatives at zero.
Jesterbunk, I'm new here so I've read through your comments, and you don't seem to contribute anything but lame comments and complaints to this board. Why exactly are you posting here if you don't own any stock, and you don't have any good advice?
