Dude needs to #$%$!!!!!! Sitting up there bashing guns, media violence, and video game violence again!!!! Pathetic. He's one of the most blatantly political folks in the world. He means nothing when he says it and will bring up anything just to score political points.
Oh come on....Bloomberg is not trying to score political points at all. The guy has tons of money you really think he gives a #$%$ about what anyone thinks of him? You may not agree with his views, but I find it hard to believe that he or Obama are trying to score any points on this one. I think both of them found the shooting as a wake up call. I think both of these guys really DO care about the issue and want to do something about it. The answer to the issue is just very complex and extremely hard to come up with an answer. But, I like the fact they are giving it a try. I don't think video games have anything to do with it. And I think Biden's plan will not go into the video game thing at all. It will strictly be go after high capacity clips and magazines.....assault weapons.....and background checks. But, at least give them some credit for trying...and not sitting back and letting another columbine or whatever the next school will be shooting without trying to address a very hard issue to solve.
Columbine happened when the the "assault weapons" ban was in full effect, and it stopped nothing. Sandy Hook happened despite Connecticut having an "assault weapons " ban. The AWB would do absolutely nothing to deter a future attack and Bloomberg and Obama both explicitly know this. As Obama's former chief of Staff has stated "You never let a serious crisis go to waste." They are both full of it.
Dont agree. Where was Obama on gun control after the Aurora shooting??? Nowhere because it was less than 4 months to the election. To say this stuff isnt political is a bit ridiculous. Bloomberg is a fool that bought his election and does anything he can for attention --- like suddenly out of nowhere holding a press conference on gun violence.
