What if TTWO got the license and then make a game using the NCAA team names and fields but made the players look and play nothing like the real players. Make the comparable black players white, the white players latino, use absolutely no likenesses of players, etc. The tricky part is the player stats . . . could similar but ambiguous player stats (for example rate 1 to 10 instead of completions, tackles, etc.) be used with players playing the same positions but with different names, likenesses, sizes, etc.
Good try, but why would any company want to even go there with all the litigation by past players. I'd rather stay out of it. I think eventually the NCAA will want the money bad enough they will set up accounts for when a player graduates and give some money to them then. Also, NCAA would setup the deal so they could pay the players virtually nothing and still make money.
