Despite a billion dollar surplus (taken mainly for previous students who are now paying it off through their student loans) the UW system is cutting as tuition is frozen and Fuhrer Walker cuts the state funding of education. Losing 5% of their funding an undisclosed number of staff and faculty are losing their jobs. One cut is the library director while two tenured faculty are leaving on their own for greener pastures. Seems the UW-Marshfield faculty haven't had a pay raise in seven years.
Tomorrow the bad news from Walker World will be also in the UW system.
Okay, all together now, "Scott Walker, where are the 250,000 jobs you promised?"
