Intel may clearly have a dominant role in the PC chip industry, but in no way is it a monopoly... not even close.
Gee... Do you **REMEMBER** AMD? You know, the company you keep cheerleading for? Just because AMD can't get it's act together and manufacture/market chips profitably, doesn't mean Intel has a monopoly.
And how about National Semiconductor (remember Cyrix?) Not really on the cutting edge of PC-CPUs, but they make them (among a lot of other things), and over the long haul, NSM makes more money than AMD.
The finding of facts in the Microsoft trial has close to zero relevance to Intel... except that some Microsoft investors are likely to bail and place money in Intel
