    TABLETS: And the winner is....INTEL!!!

Yes. The clear winner is Intel indeed when it comes to the success of tablets.

Not Nvdia, nor Qualcomm, nor TXN. And not even ARM.

Apple clearly is the go to label when it comes to tablets. They currently hold about 82% of the market. And they have their own design. Not Nvdia's, nor Qualcomm's, nor TXN's.
Second is Samsung's Galaxy with only 4%.
And this doesn't have any of the mentioned chipmakers as well as supplying its processor.
Nvdia only enjoys the 3% of Dell's streak and about 2% of Motorola's failed Xoom.
Many will come out this year with Intel's Atom processor, which will be the real game changer.
But ARM currently holds by far the biggest percentage when it comes to the architecture. But that architecture is more dependant than ever to the server that serves it. Tablets are very much dependant to apps and as a result to the internet servers as well. So as ARM makes a few pennies per chip sold in royalty, Intel makes thousands.
As Intel said, for every 120 tablets, a server is needed. So as ARM benefits the most in numbers, it only benefits by about $10 to $20 in royalties for every 120 tablets. Let's call it profits. Intel collects about $1000 to $2000 per server chip that services these very dependant machines. And most of that is profits. So who is the real winner? INTEL of course! And it will continue to be Intel.
