While not reporting specific numbers a Dell exec says demand for it XPS 13 ultrabook has 3X the expected demand. This model doesn't even have the benefit of Ivy Bridge or Windows 8, which should increase the appeal even further.
I knew those would be a big seller amongst corporations. Snowball effect: Corporations buy the for employees, employees love them and show/tell their friends, their friends buy them and tell their friends, those people buy them and buy some for their college kids. Their college kids show their friends........on and on.
It can't be denied anymore: Intel is set to ROAR the next few years and more.
Good post! These kinds of statements by computer executive put the negative analysts against the ultrabooks to shame. Hope it puts them out of a job too after going against a great tech company like Intel. At this point, the greatest.
I own a personal Macbook Pro, Macbook Air and just bought a Dell XPS 13 for work, since it contains a TPM chip, required by my company. I have owned a lot of PC laptops in my day, but the Dell XPS 13 is the best laptop I have ever owned. Boots up in 12 seconds, beautiful sreen, fast. I am actually starting to prefer it to my macs. I would highly recommend buying the Dell. Posted by zack20 (6 comments ) April 29, 2012 4:18 PM (PDT)
