    Motorola RAZR I finally is on Geekbench

    As you can see from the android benchmarks list below (browserDOTprimatelabsDOTcom/android-benchmarks) the results aren't great. At first I thought it may be because it's running emulated ARM code (which I guess, is still possible) but the tests do say "Geekbench 2.3.4 for Android x86" and the single threaded results are in line with the Clovertrail (Z2760) on Windows 8 (which are around the 1400 mark).

    • How about posting something more relevant, like the single-core integer performance of all those processors, I think you will find Medfield close to if not at the top.

    • Yikes.....Marsavian can't spin that ! Intel is WAY behind.

    • Geekbench is a reputable benchmark. They're not some no-name benchmark off the street that would publish dubious numbers about such a reputed brand glibly. These numbers are consistent with the original numbers that came out for Medfield when Anandtech compared it with some of the other phones at the time and it came out middle of the pack. It seems to me, someone has influenced the benchmark creators into creating benchmarks that are heavy on Javascript and these have been favoring the Intel chips. That's why all these Intel obsessed technical commentators have started tooting Intel's horn on how they've suddenly caught up on power/performance. Otherwise, there's no change in the chip from the origional Medfield to the Razr i 2GHz version except for the clock and that is obviously at the expense of battery life. The Razr i for the record has a 40% bigger battery than the iPhone 5.

      Obviously some tweaking is needed for the newly released Android 4.04 version for Intel based processors. This cannot possibly be due to some hardware deficiency.
