50% luck. Intel honor the piviot point, R and S levels frequently but not always. Since it was trading above the R2, I just expected it so sink back to it.
Intel trading seems to be strongly influenced by some programmed trading aglorithm. I don't thnk programmed trading is the same as manipulation. It seems to use Piviot point as rails for weighting its trading. I don't know whether it is the buyer or seller or both. Share buy backs can continue up to the last 10 minutes of trading since Intel has a market cap of more than $150m. Otherwise, the last hour would be off limits.
