    Intel full throttle 14nm in 2014, TSMC 30 percent 20nm by 2015

    Does anybody else see that as a HUGE turning point ??

    • And TSMCs 20nm is planar which means limited performance and economics verses Intel's 14nm FinFET. And after 20nm, ARMs roadmap ends. They won't have FinFET technology in prodution for years and years and years....

      Morris Chang : We think that our volume of 20 SoC next year, 2014, will be greater than the volume of 28-nanometer last year and we think the volume of 20 SoC in 2015 will be greater than the volume of 28-nanometer this year.....he does not provide absolute numbers in context - just relative to the past....

      I figure 20nm will be on the order of $6 billion in 2015 - I didn't see anything about 16nm
