They just went up another 5% Friday due to increase in dividend and buyback announcement.
They currently enjoy nearly twice the valuation of Intel.
Yet Intel has better numbers and better growth than TXN.
And TXN recently gave up on the Omap which analysts think was a huge growth area due to mobility products.
Whatever valuation is fair for TXN, I think that Intel at least deserves a better valuation.
What do you think?
TXN doesn't seem to have been targeted by the bully boys of Wall Street. Intel totally deserves an equal or better P/E ratio in my opinion. Texas Instruments is another fine company but they don't have Intel's potential to take over the lion's share of mobility. By June we will have reached the tipping point. Then Intel will be the bully boy and Wall Street is going to get whacked. Looking forward to it...
