    Another Intel Deal

From Intel Capital (announced a while back):

Truphone, a mobile service provider aimed at international travelers, has raised 75 million U.K. pounds ($118.6 million), the largest amount since electronic-reader company Plastic Logic raised GBP89.7 million at the end of 2010, according to VentureSource, a research unit of Dow Jones. The company plans to use the funds to build out its U.S. presence. The round values the company at GBP300 million and gives the lead investor, Minden, a 23.3% stake in the company in exchange for providing GBP70 million of the new capital. Minden is the personal investment vehicle of Roman Abramovich, a Russian billionaire and owner of Chelsea Football Club.

WSO2 has raised a $10 million Series C round at a valuation of $40 million to $50 million as it plans to capitalize on industry shifts in middleware, the software that lies between applications and their underlying hardware. Middleware is changing rapidly as cloud and mobile computing become more prominent. The financing was led by Toba Capital, with Cisco Systems CSCO +1.37% and current investor Intel Capital participating.
