Wait a minute here. As I read the article from yesterday, I saw this: "Moonshot" is using BOTH Intel and ARMH (Texas Instruments) chips and as a matter of fact that ARMH part of the project is being sent out to select customers just to test. Your headline is deceiving, making it sound like HP's doing a project only using ARMH.
The whole point of the project is to reduce amount of energy consumed by server farms. I don't think the issue is ARM vs Intel rather it is high power vs low power. HP decided to use Intel chips as well as the ARM chip and let the market dictate which chip it prefers.
