What Paul Ottelini and Stacey Smith said during investor meeting.
During investor meeting last year, this is what the CEO and CFO of Intel said.
They go into markets such as the smartphone market with the intention of the leader in market share.
And they said they have confidence they will get there.
So all these assumptions that they may get only about 10% are way off the mark.
My guess is that the huge cap ex has to with the certainty by Intel that the customers are lining
up to buy Intel mobile chips for smartphones and other mobil products.
Intel knows what they are doing regardless of what some ignorant and stubborn analysts might suggest.
