It's obviously confirmed now that Intel did not get any
smartphone announcements for here in the US during
MWC 2014. Here is what the IR emailed to me:
"We have not made any product announcements for the U.S. market this year. At Mobile World conference last week, we’ve announced our newest phone chips, Merrifield and Moorefield. We also announced long-term multi-year agreements with Lenovo and Asus on phones and tablets. Our guideline is that we let the OEMs decide when they would like to make the product announcement.
We hope the information is helpful."
With what you have knowledge of and what they have said during MWC, what would be your best guess
as to when the first smartphone will be available in the US market using Intel as the processor?
