You are pointing out that DAL restructured debt in bankruptcy and that the debt is significant. What of it? Delta's Levered Free Cash Flow is $1.4 Billion. JetBlue has negative Levered Free Cash. Barger is borrowing money to pay interest on JetBlue's debt. This isn't alarming in and of itself, it happens sometimes. But the business model isn't generating the revenue to sustain itself as of today and the sub 2% Yield is getting a growth multiple of 20x's from the street.
It can't go on forever. This company is in decline. Management is grasping at straws. Absent a merger here, its $5 at best.

Bear in mind that you can always discount anything that chip_sap says. He has a great track record on the airlines. Earlier this year he screamed "6s before 9s" and "this company will NEVER exceed a $7B market cap." He did this on the LUV board. Just check the accuracy of his predictions.
OK, I am not here to start a rumor, or to add to the rumor mill, but would like to ask a question. If these number are accurate, then why has Jet Blue never been taken over, bought out, or is still not in the teens. Inquiring minds want to know!!!
