You're a fool, my friend. Tesla has announcements coming. Don't get your shorts in a knot. Yes, there is short term downside... but Tesla will never see 40 again. 65... maybe intraday. Shorting from 130... yes. Safe short down to 85... maybe. Investor sentiment, economy, company announcements will decide. Shorts are NOT in control. Who is in control is the MUTUAL FUND MANAGERS who saw the GS announcement, knew that already, and fled to the exits... only to look back in for the bottom coming soon to a market near you. MFM's move in lockstep on bad news from other analysts to conserve gains. Pure and simple. The Mutual Funds are in control. That is always who is in control... the mutual fund managers... the REAL buyers and sellers of stocks like this... not tiny little speculator short sellers. No doubt... many fund managers sold on the announcement, and turned around and shorted the stock... which THEY will cover... when they are good and ready to cover. Nuff said.
