I love the use of words in todays press release to sell nice packaged water, "Comprehensive Distribution Network Allows Icelandic Glacial to Meet Skyrocketing Demand for One of the World's Purest Super-Premium Waters." What is skyrocketing demand mean? Does this pertain to the water industry or Icelandic Glacial? If these guys had such a awesome skyrocketing business, they would have gone to Pepsi or Coke.
Another sentence referenced in the press release says, "Leading Brands' countrywide Integrated Distribution System(TM) is the broadest and most pervasive beverage distribution platform in Canada." Does Hanson's know that? After Hanson reads this press release, they'll come crawling back to Ralph and beg forgivenss - NOT!
I would guess that Icelanic Glacials probably went to Pepsi or Coke 1st and they both laughed at them. It's just water. There are a TON of water companies out there. Let's see some press release telling about LBIX's beverages and not someones rinky dink operation being distributed by LBIX.
I don't recall in the press release seeing where Ralph said something about this new water deal replaces the lost Hanson business. In my opinion, this press release is a non event yawner, just like all of last years press releases about LBIX's products being rolled out.
Today's press release is a non event. Ralph's been signing distribution contracts for 11 years and the net results have been pathetic. In my opinion, this press release is just another day at the office - a worthelss non event.
