    Guardian Angel Leapfrog ?

What's the number one concern a mom or dad has concerning their kids, protection and safety ! What if LF came out with a tablet that could call 911 at anytime 24/7 if the child was lost or in danger. The call would give police the location even if the child could not talk. I'am not talking about a whole phone just 911 calls at the push or pull of a button (something hard to trigger by mistake). What a jump on the competition! Mom's and dad's would still have a choice of models but I bet people would pay the extra money for the protection of their child.
Am I off base here or just on to many meds?

    • Not sure Super. it seems to me that in order for it to work it would need to be a simple button press since the child may not have much time. Plus the leappad would need to have a cellular capability.

If it were easy to use then kids would constantly be calling 9/11 while playing.

Cellular capability might not be that big of a problem. Did you know ALL cell phones new or old, in service or not in service, can be used to call 911, it is the law in my state anyway. Something could be worked out with a carrier it would be good PR. As far as using just a simple button you could program it to be held for 3 seconds to be connected so a simple bump won't trigger a call. Kind of like my washer, you have to hold the start button down 3 seconds to disable the top lid lock.
