When the stock went DOWN yesterday about 8% the volume was about 1.4 million shares. Today it goes up 9% but on volume of only about 790K shares.
Motley Fool is correct in being "leery" of jumping in IOC. The stock has been bid up for years on speculation and there is only $1.18 total cash per share on the balance sheet.
They can't sell a drop of LNG without multi-billion dollars worth of LNG plant construction which could take as long as 6 or 7 years and only if they get FINAL INVESTMENT DECISION from someone with very deep pockets. I don't think it will happen, period.
