It could be Q1 or Q2. They've changed the way they are updating the website or some of the Q1's were Q2's and vice versa. I think they're just adding sooner. If I were a hospital I would have complained if I bought a unit in the first week of January and it wasn't added to the Surgeon Locator until mid-May. But we won't know for sure for awhile. The easiest way to determine known numbers is to list all known new units bought in Q1 or Q2 and subtract 5, the number known to have been sold in Q1.
Despite a certain poster's protestations, this list is compiled to get an early warning on a miss or beat and to track vs guidance.
Known sales in Q1& Q2:
Stringfellow Memorial Anniston AL
Sebastian River Medical Center Sebastian FL
Gilmore Medical Center Amory MS
Memorial Hermann Memorial City Houston TX
Des Peres Hospital St Louis MO
Stevenson Surgery Center Fremont CA
Boulder Comm Hospital Boulder CO
Oschner Medical Center New Orleans LA
Las Palmas Medical Center El Paso TX
Hong Kong Q2 unconfirmed
TOTAL 10 minus 5 sales in Q1.
5 new units halfway though Q2. That puts us on track to meet/beat guidance. Probably need 9-10 through any combination of sales and deferred revenue received.
Usual caveats apply. Can take weeks for social media, PR, or other clues of a new sale to emerge (unless MAKO has changed their format). Mako post Q4 took up to 4 weeks after the Q4 conf call (Feb) to update the website.
