Not that I'm complaining because I'm long on this oversold stock, but I was curious to know why this stock has had a huge run-up in price, given that there are no public news on this company (except that Cisco has announced that it is planning to purchase numerous small-to-medium size companies).
Hope this is not a dead cat bounce or a head fake.
To my mind that about sums it up. The current placement of the market cycle means fear, aided and abetted by the professional hedge fund institutions, is dominating the atmosphere.
This is why I'm such a contrarian, though this is not to say there aren't plenty of market issues to work out. Begin operating your entry positions when there's blood ankle deep in the streets and all you hear is the catawailing of gutted bulls and the over-the-top hyperbole of the bears. (You do the opposite when all is nirvana and "we're gonna grow forever" sentiments dominate).
I believe todays market more than qualifies in the ankle blood department. Bottom line? Market cycles are NEVER rescended, however attenuated they may from cycle to cycle be. ;-)
