Sonus management's focus has always been on the big carriers - they are "RBOC centric". This where the dollars lie. Even the introduction of the 4000, while great for smaller carriers, ISP's, etc., is meant to allow the larger carriers to expnd their offerings into areas where they weren't previously active, IMO.
Maybe one day SONS will generate revenue from international sales. But right now it makes virtually nothing from international markets outside of Japan. That's one reason why Sonus fired its EMEA VP Of sales a year and half ago.
